Human Trafficking Operation Nets Nine Arrests

(09/18/2019)—Members of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Human Trafficking Unit assisted with a child predator operation in Garfield County that yielded nine arrests in September. CBI analysts and agents, in partnership with Homeland Security Investigations (HIS), helped organize the collaborative undercover Internet effort to identify child predators in Garfield County, including Glenwood Springs.

Deceased Named in Padroni Fire

08/01/2019--The name of the deceased man located inside a burned structure in Logan County has been identified. David Dan Medrano Jr. (DOB 07/31/1976) was found inside a residence in the 23311 Pawnee Street in Padroni, Colorado on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.

Man Arrested for Homicide, Investigation Begins

07/29/2019—The CBI was requested to assist the Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office and the 5th Judicial District Attorney’s Office on a homicide investigation occurring on July 27, 2019. Read more in the following news release from the 5th Judicial District.
