One Arrested in Seibert Shooting on Eastern Plains

A Longmont man faces charges of murder in the second degree and first-degree assault in connection with a shooting occurring in the town of Seibert on Saturday, November 21, 2020.

Israel Camacho Anderson (DOB: 04/06/1986), Longmont, was arrested following the shooting of two individuals after an alleged verbal confrontation escalated. One of the victims died as a result of the shooting. The other is currently hospitalized but is expected to survive.

Anderson is being held at the Kit Carson County Jail on $175,000 bond.

No additional information is available due to a gag order issued in the case by a 13th Judicial District judge.

Seibert is located 33 miles west of Burlington on the eastern plains of Colorado.
