The Colorado Bureau of Investigation Forensic Services' four laboratories are accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB). Accreditation is based on ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards and the ANAB Forensic Science Testing and Calibration supplemental requirements.
- Additional Certification for Toxicology

Our toxicology labs maintain Colorado State certification from the Colorado Department of Health and Environment (CDPHE) to perform toxicology testing in the following categories: Blood Alcohol, Blood Drug, Urine Drug, and Post Mortem.
- Additional Quality Assurance Standards for DNA

Additionally, the DNA sections of our labs are inspected and held to the FBI's 2020 Quality Assurance Standards for DNA Casework and Databasing Laboratories.
